Scope and Contents

Photographs of which 84 are postcards, and one negative. Despite the label 'Trinidad pictures', some of these images appear to be of England. One has the caption 'Lay Brother's Entrance, Beaulieu Abbey,' but the rest are all uncaptioned, so it is difficult to identify location. In the main, they depict groups of people, scenes of agriculture and some general landscape views.

Captions composed for this catalogue are enclosed in square brackets. Among the scenes and events depicted in the album are the Kampala Exhibition of 1908, views of Government House, Entebbe, the visit of Winston Churchill to Uganda in 1907, sleeping sickness sufferers in Uganda and durbars in Northern Nigeria.
