The book was used subsequently by John Flamsteed for copies, written in various hands, of letters dating from 10 July 1688 onwards, chiefly January 1698 - 25 April 1719. Solar and lunar observations of 1639 and 1659-1661 by Johann Hevelius. The writing is in a notebook made partly out of the sheets of witnesses' depositions from a Derbyshire source. It probably belonged to Steven Flamsteed.
