Sir Arthur Pedder's Memoirs of World War II

Scope and Contents In 1977 Sir Jock Colville suggested that Churchill Archives Centre should approach Sir Arthur Pedder about his memoirs of World War II. Correlli Barnett (the then Keeper of the Archives Centre) did so and the Archives Centre staff then recorded Pedder's memoirs on tape and transcribed them. Captain Stephen Roskill and Sir Arthur Pedder were then sent the transcript to check. The transcript does not seem to have ever been re-typed to include their corrections so they remain clear in PEDR 2....
