129pp. Comprises manuscript notes in black and blue ink (apparently the same hand). The introduction is dated, 'Sunday Oct 24th 1841', with the place given as 'Library Otterden', but the author is unidentified. The notes comprise of shortened versions of eight articles published in the 'Saturday Magazine', nos 172-183, between March and May 1835, signed 'J.H.C.', possibly Rev. James Cordiner (d. 1836).
