Scope and Contents

A computus of the revenues of King Charles in the county of Lincoln, for the year ending at Michaelmas 1649. This is followed by nine similar accounts of the revenues of that king and of Queen Henrietta in the year 1648, in the counties of Nottingham, Derby, Lincoln and Chester; and of the possessions of the then lately deceased Mathew and Margaret Earl and Countess of Lenox in the county of York, for the year 1648.

The Portsmouth Collection is the principal collection of Isaac Newton's scientific and mathematical papers, including early drafts of the Principia, and his correspondence with Oldenburg, Halley Flamsteed and many of the other most prominent scientists of his day.
