The parties are:- 1) Raphe Lockett of Sandbach, Cheshire, yeoman 2) Richard Pickering, senior, of Snape, Weston Lordship, Cheshire, yeoman. RL to convey to Ranulph Lockett and others a cottage in Sandbach to use of RL during his lifetime and then to Dorothy and Richard and their heirs. Seal on each document.

The parties are:- 1) Richard Pickering, Thomas Lowe and John Burrows, all of Sandbach, blacksmiths 2) Randle Locket, son of Raphe Locket. In consideration of the marriage of FL and RP it is agreed that Randle Locket will suffer a recovery brought against him at the next sessions by Lowe and Burrows for a messuage in Sandbach. Uses to RP for his life, Frances for hers and then their heirs. A note is attached 'Richard Pickering was buried the fourteenth day of September 1647'.
