Scope and Contents Account roll for the estates of Katherine Percy, dowager countess of Northumberland. The lands, spread accross twelve counties, are essentially those she brought to her husband the eighth earl as her share of the inheritance of her father John Nevill, the last Lord Latimer. After the countess's death in 1596, few remained among the central Percy estates. They were used in the 1590s to fund annuities for the countess's younger children, and most were alienated in the early 17th century. Roll...

'An acount of what is disbursed for mending of the Rodes in Royston Cambridge Shere (sic) for the use of the yeare 1721, By Mr William Kightley and Evan Owen'. The account details the carriage of stones by cart to Royston from quarries in Barkway, Barley, Bassingbourn, Kneesworth, and Therfield. Total expenditure is slightly in excess of #8. Endorsed with receipts signed by Edmund Whitehead and Edward Warman, two of the carters, both dated 29 July 1721.

A collection of uncaptioned loose prints, measuring approximately 200 x 145 mm. The collection was exhibited in the Gold Coast section of the British Empire Exhibition 1924 and were deposited at the Royal Colonial Institute on the instruction of Major W.T.E. Wallace, Acting Postmaster General of the Gold Coast (see letter accompanying prints). Prints 11 and 12 show other Post Offices in the colony. Photographer unknown.
