Faviell Collection of Ceylon [i.e. Sri Lanka] Railway views, 1867
Collection of albumen prints mounted on cards, mostly by Slinn and Co. (viz W.L.H. Skeen and Co.). Two of these photographs (of the Darporee viaduct) relate to Faviell's years in India and the remainder to the construction and opening of the Colombo-Kandy line.

An album of albumen prints probably taken in the 1880s by varied photographers including Bourne and Shepherd, W L H Skeen and Co. and G.R. Lambert & Co. Numbers 1-39 are of India; 40-51 of Ceylon; and 52-59 of Singapore. Numbers at the end of individual photograph entries refer to the photographers' catalogue numbers.
Littledale India Collection
4 albums containing albumen prints. Y3022G-I were compiled by Harold Littledale and include photographs by Scowen and Co., A.T.W. Penn, Samuel Bourne and his successors, and others. Y3022I/A contains reproductions of the works of the Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma and was given to Littledale by the photographer V.G. Chiplonkar.

R. Elsy Collection on India and Ceylon [i.e. Sri Lanka]
An album of albumen prints by John Edward Sache, Thomas A. Rust, Nicholas and Co., and W.L.H. Skeen and Co. It was compiled by R. Elsy apparently during a tour in the 1880s through India and Ceylon. It includes pictures of Bombay, Delhi, Agra, Cawnpore, Lucknow, Allahabad, Benares, Calcutta, Madras, Bangalore and Ceylon. The prints' pencil captions have been used as titles; titles composed by the cataloguer have been enclosed in square brackets.
