Falkland Islands album
An album of blank paper measuring 245 x 300 mm. The first thirty pages contain a miscellaneous collection of inserted photographs, original drawings and watercolours, mostly of maritime and naval interest and of family holidays, ranging in date from 1845 to 1900. There are eight original pictures of the Falkland Islands area, some of which are initialled G.M.H. or R.C.H. The last item is a photograph of troops embarking for the South African War in 1900.

First World War scrapbooks
The scrapbooks contain letters, press cuttings, sketch maps, printed army documents, including regulations and training instructions, tables of army rations, rough handwritten notes, movement orders, leave passes, sports papers and demobilisation papers. There are also photographs, many of which were taken during Clarke's regular tours of inspection among the frontline troops while he was at Bethune, and which include scenes from the trenches.

'From Aden to Quetta'
Part of a book left incomplete on the author's death. The title, introduction, glossary and index were supplied by the author's daughter, Mrs Rosamond Griffin. The full title is 'From Aden ... to Quetta ... to Lahore ... to Delhi ... to Quetta: the peripatetic life of one army household between 1910 and 1917'. The memoir contains descriptions of train journeys in India and the accommodation, domestic arrangements and social amenities of army families in the early twentieth century.
