This collection comprises an album containing 187 photographs and a further 25 loose prints. Its creator is unknown, but he is likely to have been a British soldier, probably of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Norfolk Regiment, identified by the uniforms and insignia of the colour party which appears in Y302M/188.
