Scope and Contents The bulk of the slides in the collection were prepared for a lecture called 'Bombs and Bolos' on the British campaign against the Bolsheviks in North Russia in 1919. These have all been placed in section 1. The 17 volumes cover both World Wars and comprise letters home from the front, accounts of particular events by individual family members, photographs and postcards as well as newspaper clippings and telegrams.
