Walter Bell Papers
Personal and professional papers of the diplomat, intelligence officer and writer Walter Bell (1909-2004). The collection includes family correspondence, papers relating to his work with MI5 and MI6 in the United States, Africa, India and the West Indies, papers relating to the East West Institute (Interdoc), correspondence relating to Bell’s spiritual life, and papers of his wife Katharine Bell relating to her wartime service and to women’s education in Africa.
