The following indicates the main individuals concerned:Col. Thomas Heaton Lovett (1871-1892) of Belmont (later Henlle Hall) Salop, had a brother John Richard (see Y3022PP/13), and four sons and six daughters. Photographs of Mubin Sheppard

Scope and Contents The majority of the photographs relate to the early stages of Sheppard’s career with the Malayan Civil Service. They illustrate his accommodation; varied range of work in Kuala Lumpur, Pahang, Perak and Terengganu; Malay and European colleagues; official events, military service, travel and recreation. Watercolours and drawings of Edward Frome

Scope and Contents This is a collection of art work created by the Royal Engineer Edward Charles Frome (1802-1890). In 1929 Frome’s surviving daughter, Mrs Frank Wynne, presented some of the South Australian drawings to the Royal Empire Society through the good offices of Sir Harry Wilson, to whom she bequeathed the rest of the collection.
