Print, measuring 285 x 234 mm, mounted on card. The photograph is a group portrait of the football team, with inset head and shoulders portraits of two unidentified players. Mr (later Sir) Philip Joseph Hartog (1864-1947), first Vice-Chancellor of Dacca University 1920-25, is seated in the centre of the group. The only other identified figures are P. A collection of programmes (of state functions and receptions of distinguished visitors) and a series of photographs taken by the Official Information Department Photographers. The photographs are all individually annotated on the back in pencil, often identifying individuals shown and have reference numbers in ink. All measure 12 x 9.2 cm, either in portrait or landscape format.

An unbound research paper on maternal mortality and the state in the Madras Presidency, 1840-1875, 68 pages. The paper discusses lying-in hospitals, midwifery training, dai (a traditional birth assistant), child-birth in India, the health and medical welfare of Indian women and female mortality.

Collection of albumen prints mounted on cards, mostly by Slinn and Co. (viz W.L.H. Skeen and Co.). Two of these photographs (of the Darporee viaduct) relate to Faviell's years in India and the remainder to the construction and opening of the Colombo-Kandy line.
