R. Elsy Collection on India and Ceylon [i.e. Sri Lanka]
An album of albumen prints by John Edward Sache, Thomas A. Rust, Nicholas and Co., and W.L.H. Skeen and Co. It was compiled by R. Elsy apparently during a tour in the 1880s through India and Ceylon. It includes pictures of Bombay, Delhi, Agra, Cawnpore, Lucknow, Allahabad, Benares, Calcutta, Madras, Bangalore and Ceylon. The prints' pencil captions have been used as titles; titles composed by the cataloguer have been enclosed in square brackets.
R. Hammond Innes: Correspondence and papers
The collection comprises correspondence with Innes' parents, schoolmasters, literary figures and friends, papers on Innes' school education, his literary and broadcasting career and various clubs and societies he belonged to. Also included are research notes, many for foreign countries, diaries and photographs. There is also a small collection of papers relating to Dorothy Mary Innes.

A series of letters mostly addressed to Ralph Abercromby when he was British Minister in Turin. The majority are from Marquis Massimo d'Azeglio, President of the Council of the King of Sardinia. On a fly-leaf is a numbered list of the letters from the Marquis Massimo d'Azeglio, and a list of the contents of the volume, both in Lord Dunfermline's hand.

Ramsden Collection on Malta 1938
Collection of prints and commercially produced photographs of Malta. Evan David Ramsden took or collected them while serving in the RAF in Malta. Though some have 'The Grand Studios, Malta' stamped on the back, this is probably the printer, not the photographer. The captions to 1-18 have been added by Donald Simpson, based in most cases on information on the back by Ramsden with modifications by his daughter, Pauline Fothergill. The captions of 19-28 are those printed on the photos.

The collection comprises originals and photocopies of personal and family papers, including correspondence with Lettice Ramsey (nee Baker) and her memoir of him, letters from Frank to his parents, his diaries, a paper he read to the Apostles, his parents' scrapbook about him, a [draft] letter from Frank to Ludwig Wittgenstein, a draft article, photographs mostly of Frank, and obituaries.

235 x 170 mm. Photograph showing the personnel with identifications of most of those present on a separate sheet. It accompanies the reminiscences 'Singapore 1926-29' of Major Leonard Ridgway, M.B.E., who was an RASC Staff Clerk at Fort Canning from 1926 to 1929. In addition to the identifications his typescript reminiscences include two pages (a & b) of biographical notes on the individuals.
