Nicholas Fernandez de Moratin: Arte de Putear

A seventy-six page poetic work with 23-26 lines per page. At the back of the volume is a wrapper of 'papel sellado' dated 1822. The date of the wrapper suggests that the manuscript was one of the papers used by the editor of Moratin's Obras postumas (Barcelona, 1821), although it does not appear in that edition, and is apparently unpublished.

Nicolaus Schroeder: Commentary upon the minor Old Testament prophets, Joel to Zechariah

Except in the case of Zephaniah, each book has a title page preceding the text of the commentary, on which a later hand has added lists of published commentaries and related works on the prophet in question, published between 1747 and 1817. There is no such list for Zechariah. The ascription is to Schroeder on all such title-pages, except those for Joel and Amos.

Nigerian Troops in the Congo, circa 1960

A collection of photographs, measuring 240 x 180 mm, probably by official photographers, of the air lift of Nigerian troops to the Congo as part of the United Nations force (ONUC). The first of these went in November 1960: those serving in Kivu Province, where Kindi is situated, were the 5th Battalion and the Field Squadron. Nigerian troops served in the Congo until 1964.
