At the head of each set is the title of the epistle or other work from which the quotations are taken. On fo. 2 is a stamp with a coat of arms, 'Bibliotheca Rilliana', and the number 45 (?) in a circle. The reference may be to the Rilli family of Florence.
Johann Reuchlin: De Arte Cabalistica
Translation of book I, 30 folios. Leaves 3-4 are misbound after leaf 30, as are leaves 17-22 after leaf 4. The surviving text corresponds to p. [A iv verso] l.2 - p. XXI l.2 in the first edition, Hagenan 1517. Blank spaces have been left in the text where Hebrew passages occur, and the Hebrew characters have been faintly pencilled in. There are the remains of an ornate title page at the beginning.

A collection of phrases found in the works of Livy arranged in alphabetical order and followed by references, 112 folios. The original entries were written for the most part on the recto and verso of alternate leaves. A second hand has added in the intervening spaces a number of additional entries. On fo. 1 are the words 'Biblioteca Iliantariana MSS p. 48'.

Archbold; the remainder are for the most part potential or actual contributors to the History, replying to Acton's invitations to take part or writing about their contributions. Appended are a further letter of A.W. Ward, 1914, and one of Herbert Butterfield, 1964, relating to the collection, and a few miscellaneous papers. 291 items.
