The collection comprises Sir George's reports to Sir Winston Churchill as his Parliamentary Private Secretary. The reports cover the business of the House of Commons and Harvie Watt's observations on the mood of the Members of the House and reactions to WSC's speeches, policies, and the events of the Second World War. They have been annotated in red by Sir Winston Churchill. Also includes a small amount of correspondence.

There are also letters written to Henderson by Rear-Admiral Tomkinson, as well as press cuttings relating to Admiral Keyes raising a question about the Admiralty's treatment of Tomkinson from 1934.

The Papers of (Reginald) Hugh Hickling
This small collection relates to a personal memoir written by Hickling recalling the final days of British rule in South Arabia (1964-67) recalling his time as Legal Adviser to the High Commissioner in Aden and South Arabia [later Yemen]. Hickling wrote the memoir in 1973-4 while waiting for a Foreign Office posting. It has not been published.

The Papers of Mary Agnes Hamilton
The collection comprises a small collection of personal papers, ephemera, and photographs; printed copies of Hamilton's published articles and talks; biographical materials prepared by Hamilton's niece and nephew; and a series of Mary Agnes Hamilton's handwritten private diaries in small notebooks compiled between January 1938 and August 1945. The sequence of diaries is complete, apart from one diary dating from November 1942-March 1943.
