Biographical / Historical

Roy Pilgrim worked for the Ministry of Supply during the atomic weapons tests at Los Alamos and Bikini Atoll. He was the first Superintendent of the Foulness Range and in April 1954 became Trials Director for the Operation Grapple H-bomb tests, by 1962 he was the Head of Safety Co-ordination, Weapons Group.
