Biographical / Historical

Sir Arthur Marshall was a pioneering aviator and businessman. He was born in Cambridge and studied engineering at Jesus College. He learned to fly in 1928 and was responsible, with his father, for creating both Cambridge airport and the company Marshall Aerospace. He served as Chairman of Marshall Aerospace from 1942 until 1989.
