Biographical / Historical
Leslie Ruthven Pym was born in 1884, the son of Walter Ruthven Pym, the Bishop of Bombay. He was educated at Bedford School and Magdalene College, Cambridge. He was elected an MP for Monmouth in 1939 at a by-election and represented the constituency until his death in 1945. He served as a government whip in the wartime coalition.
