Biographical / Historical

The collection comprises copies of original paintings by Sir Winston Churchill. A biographical history of Sir Winston Churchill (WSC) is available as part of the introduction to Sir Winston's own papers. The copies were made and obtained by David Coombs and Minnie Churchill. Minnie Churchill is a Director of Churchill Heritage (2005).

The series of CD's comprising high resolution images were numbered 1 to 30. This numbering has been retained.

Other Finding Aids

The collection has been catalogued. A copy of the catalogue is available for consultation at Churchill Archives Centre and at the National Register of Archives in London. CHHE 31 is a printed copy of the images, a finding aid to the collection.

Deposited at Churchill Archives Centre by Mrs Minnie Churchill in February 2004.
