Comprising oral history interviews with five patients who underwent treatment for infertility in the 1980s and 1990s (IVF and other fertility treatments). The patients were treated at Bourn Hall and other fertility clinics.

Conditions Governing Access
The original interviews are closed under the terms of the Data Protection Act 2018 until 2055-2092, but edited access copies (excluding identifying information) are open to researchers.
Biographical / Historical
These interviews were made for "Patient Pioneers – Women and Infertility", a project created as the final part of a Masters Degree in Public History, at Royal Holloway, University of London, by Lucy McDonald. The aim of the project was to record and preserve the stories of patients who experienced changes in medical technology, personally and intimately.
