Subjects are WSC's forthcoming visit to Metz; the debate on the Adjournment [in the House of Commons]; a telegram from the President [of the United States Harry Truman] about Palestine which Attlee had shown WSC and he had discussed with [Oliver] Stanley [Secretary of State for the Colonies] and [Anthony] Eden; terrorism in Palestine and Jewish organisations' connections to terrorism; the idea of a Jewish national home [Israel] and the national pledges to establish it; recommendations of the Anglo-American Committee and the idea of partition of Palestine which WSC supported.
