Scope and Contents
Letters from Fisher to his family, including his brother Herbert Fisher, Vice-Chancellor of Sheffield University, while serving on HMS Raleigh in South Africa and HMS St Vincent. Subjects include an attempted murder on board the Raleigh, a visit by Queen Alexandra and the Battle of Jutland, particularly the loss of HMS Invincible, with a photograph of the wreck of the Invincible following the battle.
