Subjects include German plans regarding territory, Italy's possible neutrality, Wemyss' own hopes for an end to the use of submarines, mines and military air ships in warfare, Wemyss' view of Sir Winston Churchill's abilities, the Dardanelles campaign, the repulsion of the Germans from Warsaw by the Russians and Wemyss' difficulty in feeling glad at German losses.
