"Consolidated diary", 1935 - 1941
Scope and Contents
The consolidated diary is typewritten and covers, in considerable detail, the work on the development of the jet engine. It is virtually a continuous narrative of events given by Whittle and includes quotations from letters, accounts of meetings and descriptions or summaries of stages of the work under separate headings.
