Charles XII of Sweden] open it; contemporary copy of Marlborough's signature, with an engraved portrait; letter from Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson to the Lord Mayor of London [Sir John Earner], withdrawing an earlier letter of the 20th November (WCHL 11/3/1), as it might stir up matters which should remain quiet, but stating that his opinion of the service done by the officers and men who fought [at the Battle of Copenhagen] remained unaltered.
