Scope and Contents

Comprising: a letter from Lord Fisher [Admiral of the Fleet, earlier Sir John Fisher] to WSC advising him to order 18 inch guns (8 May); a letter from Lord Fisher to WSC enclosing a press cutting about German guns, annotated by WSC (7 May); a note in WSC's hand (in green pencil) noting that a letter had been sent as requested (15 May); and a letter from J M Falkner (Elswick Works, Newcastle on Tyne) to Lord Fisher on gun manufacture (7 May).
