Scope and Contents

On subjects including the Geneva Conference on disarmament, the Lausanne Conference [which resulted in agreement to suspend First World War reparation payments by Germany] and the Ottawa Conference [Imperial Economic Conference]; the prospect of German rearmament; the danger posed by Russia [the Soviet Union]; disarmament; the League of Nations; the strength of the French Army; and the British government's duty to attempt to prevent war in Europe.

Comprising "psalm style" speech notes, a mix of typewritten (with annotations by WSC) and handwritten (by WSC). The pages are numbered but there are no pages 13 or 20 [mistake in numbering, rather than pages missing].

With an envelope labelling the speech as "House of Commons, 24.11.32, Foreign Affairs".
