Correspondents include: Richard Nixon, thanking CS for his advice; Robin Renwick, British Ambassador to South Africa, on an article by [Harold] Julian Amery in 1988 on CS's influence as Sir Winston Churchill's Parliamentary Private Secretary and his record as Governor of Southern Rhodesia [later Zimbabwe]; Lord Chelwood [earlier Tufton Beamish] on Amery's article; Lord Luce, former Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, on African affairs, recalling his experience of working with CS on Rhodesia; Emma Soames.
