Scope and Contents
Dr Williams was a colleague of Rotblat's in the 1940s at the George Holt Laboratory, Liverpool and at Los Alamos and discusses his opinions about his role there. Later, he was at the Ministry of Supply and explains his reasons for not giving a lecture about atomic energy as a civil servant. Other subjects discussed include retirement; articles from 'Disarmament Times', which are included; nuclear disarmament; Pugwash; scientists' equivalent of the Hippocratic Oath and his opinions about American political processes.
