Scope and Contents
Correspondence with WSC, CSC, RSC's son Winston and Pamela Churchill [earlier Pamela Digby, later Pamela Hayward and Pamela Harriman] on subjects including RSC's son being invited to be a page at Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation, RSC's marriage settlement, his book "Fifteen Famous English Homes", a lecture by RSC on Lord Randolph Churchill and a stroke suffered by WSC. Includes some modern photocopies, draft notes from RSC's biography on his dislike of [Robert] Anthony Eden [later 1st Lord Avon] and the offer of a peerage to WSC on his resignation as Prime Minister in 1955, and a letter from David Guthrie-James on publishing correspondence between WSC and 1st Lord Roberts in his biography of Roberts.
