Correspondence on the publication and sales of War in Three Dimensions, by Air Vice-Marshal Edgar Kingston-McCloughry [Chief Air Defence Officer, Ministry of Defence] and JEP. Correspondence is mainly with Kingston-McCloughry, but other correspondents include: William Hawthorne [George Westinghouse Professor of Mechanical Engineering] on the dangers of increasing reliance on atomic defence, particularly in the case of the Korean War (2); representatives of Jonathan Cape Limited (4), including [Herbert] Jonathan Cape, Director; Air Chief Marshal Sir John Slessor, commenting on the book (2); Air Commodore Theodore McEvoy [Air Ministry], on the Air Ministry's views on serving officers publishing books on professional matters.
