Scope and Contents
Copies of and extracts from correspondence between AHP and Custance, and materials relating to Custance's career and writings collected by Anthony Pollen. With a carbon copy of a letter from AHP relating to naval gunnery trials in the summer of 1909 and five original letters from Custance to AHP dated 3 December 1913; 9, 24, and 28 November 1916; and 23 July 1931. Also includes a copy of 'The Fighting Power of the Capital Ship', by Custance.

Conditions Governing Access
With the exception of the correspondence between Anthony Pollen and Jon Sumida, which remains closed until 2029, the collection is open for consultation by researchers using Churchill Archives Centre, Churchill College, Cambridge.
