Scope and Contents
Correspondence on exhibitions, identification and sales of Sir Winston Churchill’s paintings and on statues of him with correspondents including: [Arthur] Nicholas Soames; Hugo Swire, Director of Sotheby’s (3); Franta Belsky on his bust of Churchill in Prague [the Czech Republic] (5). Other subjects include a bronze relief of Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt, President of the United States, at Placentia Bay, Newfoundland [Canada], by Elizabeth Holbrook and the dedication of Oscar Nemon's statue "Tribute to Married Love" in Kansas, 1984.
