Copies and originals of family correspondence between MS, Clementine Churchill, CS and Winston Churchill on subjects including: the return of Sarah Beauchamp [earlier Sarah Churchill and Sarah Oliver, later Sarah, Lady Audley] to London; Clementine's Easter spent in Seville, Spain, Mar 1951; MS and CS's stay with 2nd Duke of Westminster [earlier Lord Belgrave] at Lochmore in Sutherland [Scotland]; MS's worries about fuel shortages in the winter; rumours of a coalition government; news of Chartwell farm and of Churchill's racehorses, particularly Colonist II; the financial settlement on MS's children; finding a new house larger than Chartwell Farm.
