Diaries with detailed daily entries, 1898 - 1922
Scope and Contents
Alan Lascelles' first diary was a gift from his Great Aunt Lou [Lady Louisa Hillingdon] when he was at school at Hazelhurst and thereafter he kept diaries intermittently while at Marlborough. The main series, however, commences with LASL 1/1/6 in October 1905 when Lascelles went up to Trinity College, Oxford, and began keeping a diary on a regular basis.
