Papers and correspondence on cases concerning NK, mainly against the press, including: the case brought by Robert Maxwell [Chairman, Mirror Group Newspapers Limited] against Private Eye magazine following the allegation that Maxwell paid for NK’s trips to the United States, the Soviet Union and Africa; allegations in the News of the World and the Sun that NK had two families evicted from their holiday apartments in Corfu to make room for his family; comments alleged by the Evening Standard and Sunday Telegraph to have been made by NK on the murder of two soldiers by the IRA; allegations in the Times that NK was a sponsor of the Friends of Afghanistan Society; statements in the Sun that NK had links with Marxism.
