Scope and Contents
These diaries cover 65 years and contains first hand insight into important meetings which occurred during World War II. Ian Jacob worked closely with Winston Churchill and implemented Churchill's communications during his thirteen wartime journeys outside the UK. JACB 1/13 covers Operation "Arcadia", which was the first meeting on military strategy between Britain and the United States. Also covered within these diaries is Operation Bracelet, where Churchill travelled to Cairo, and Operation Symbol, an Allied conference at Casablanca
