Board of Education: papers and correspondence on pupil teacher training, 1903-12 - 1914-09
Scope and Contents
Mainly papers from JWHM's work as a school inspector for the Board of Education, particularly on schools set up by the Religious Society of Friends, the teaching of history and Latin, the training of pupil teachers and the curricula of secondary schools. Also includes papers relating to JWHM's later report on the Anglican schools in Palestine, after he had left the Board.
