(ii) Guest list for Farewell Cocktail Party, 1970. 14/E Speeches made as Ambassador: (i) Miscellaneous "opening/toast/special event" speeches. (ii) Speech to UC Dublin Literary and Historical Society : affirmative to the motion "Britain's hands are bloody", 1970; (iii) correspondence re this speech. For press reports see GILC/14/O. (vii) "An imaginary conversation at No 1 O". Mrs Thatcher and Mr Lynch discuss a possible settlement of the Irish situation.
