(ii) general telegrams and correspondence, reports etc. Many are copies of despatches or additional drafts. Covering correspondence which actually relates to a former servant of Lady Gilchrist's - the unclassified minute of the reply was the covering note to the material sent to AG. 13/J Background materials : New Yorker, Encounter and A.G's reading notes, (his personal preparation materials). 13/K Personal correspondence: (i) contemporaneous, (ii) subsequent but of related interest and about Indonesian issues. (iii) Letter to AG from G.F.N. Reddaway (political Adviser to the C-in-C) about the situation in Indonesia and the press coverage it received.
