Scope and Contents
Papers relating to Farren's work as an aeronautical engineer, comprising reports, journals, notes, photographs and personal items. The bulk of the collection is made up of printed material, mainly Aeronautical Research Committee reports by Farren or his colleagues and Farren's articles in learned journals, including a considerable amount of material from the between war period. There is little correspondence in the collection and very little relating to Farren's personal life save for one early item, Farren's flying log-book for 1916-18.
