Scope and Contents
Comprising: Edwards' itinerary for travel and commitments during the conference; a letter from Colin Howles (Chairman of the Board, Serono Symposia) sent after the early finish to the Third Biennial Alpha Conference in New York because of the September 11th terrorist attacks; and a photograph (and photocopy) of Edwards, Colin Howles, Yves Menezo and Brian Dale, taken during their car journey to Montreal as it was not possible to fly out of New York.
Edwards was due to give a lecture on "History of embryo stem cells in vitro" and take part in a debate on "Origin of monozygotic twinning".
