Scope and Contents
Correspondence with Hart-Davis, Duff Cooper’s nephew and director of Rupert Hart-Davis, Limited, Publishers, on subjects including: the deaths of Lady Diana’s parents; playing hostess to King George VI and Queen Elizabeth at the British Embassy in Paris [France]; the death of Duff Cooper; the writing and publication of Lady Diana’s memoirs, "The Rainbow Comes and Goes"; "The Light of Common Day" and "Trumpets from the Steep"; Lady Diana’s finances; Duff’s books; the Duff Cooper Memorial Fund, for an annual prize for literature at the University of Oxford and for a plaque in his memory in St Paul’s Cathedral.
