Scope and Contents
Letters about Chartwell [Kent], including Clementine's offer to provide benches for the local churchyard at Westerham, and a sanctuary lamp for the church [see also CSCT 3/74], and correspondence with 1st Lord Hall [First Lord of the Admiralty] on the provision of two pairs of entrance gates for Chartwell itself, from oak out of the old HMS Implacable.
