Includes: correspondence with Clement Attlee, Prime Minister, about the award to Clementine of a GBE in the Victory Honours List; papers on the award of Honorary Degrees from the Universities of Oxford and Glasgow, including Clementine's speech at the University of Glasgow, particularly on her work for the Red Cross Aid to Russia Fund; correspondence with Sir William Fraser, Chairman of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company Limited [later 1st Lord Strathalmond] and Sir Robert Johnson, Chairman of Cammell Laird and Company Limited, on Clementine launching the oil tanker British Baron.
