Scope and Contents
Paper written by Churchill's aunt, Cornelia, Lady Wimborne, on his character and political future, and her memories of his father, Lord Randolph Churchill, and the beginning of the Primrose League. Also includes a letter from Churchill to Lady Wimborne (not sent) on how her son, 1st Lord Wimborne [earlier Ivor Guest] had dropped out of politics after the war, defending himself for not securing Lord Wimborne a political position and explaining his hurt at the breach between them.
