Scope and Contents
The Brandons entered the Bull family, after Lilian Brandon married William Bull. William Bull's research on the Brandons centres around Bevis Marks Synagogue within the City of London, near Aldgate. The volumes contain information about the synagogue, as well as those in Spain and Portugal, with information provided by Dr Moses Gaster. William Bull focuses on some notable Brandon family members, including George Brandon from Aleppo, Robert Brandon, goldsmith to Queen Elizabeth I and Raphael Brandon who resided in Spain and Portugal.
